Dra Mekaar members collect tin foods for Jerigo Opheffingsoord

A handover of 500 tins of canned food was made to Shane McCallaghan of the Jerigo Opheffingsoord in Eloff.

Dra Mekaar members gathered for their monthly meeting on August 6 at the NG Kerk Goedehoop Gemeente. The morning opened with scripture reading and prayer led by Ben Moolman. Shane McCallaghan was the guest performer at the event.

Members also handed over 500 tins of canned food they had collected throughout the year to Shane McCallaghan. The donations will go to Jerigo Opheffingsoord in Eloff.

August birthday wishes go to Gerhard Booysen (66), Nicolene Bloem (65), Keintjie Steyn (93), Deon Fourie (77), Michael du Toit (66), and Dottie Elsden (76).
