Seniors are welcome to join the Evander Seniors with Grace Club

Senior citizens are welcome to join the Evander Seniors with Grace Club's weekly meeting.

All seniors are welcome to join the Evander Seniors with Grace Club. Members have been meeting weekly since May and are calling on persons 55 years and older to join the club.

The group is open to seniors who enjoy a morning of socialising, fun, and fitness activities. They open meetings with a song and prayer, followed by a warm-up to stretch their muscles.

Members recently participated in the GMM Active Ageing Golden Game, comprising various sporting activities, at the Lillian Ngoyi Stadium in Secunda. Some members received medals for achieving top spots.

Members are calling on the public and businesses to donate hula-hoops, balls, bean bags, skipping ropes, or any other equipment they can use for fitness activities.

There are currently 23 members, of whom 15 are active members attending weekly. To become a member or for more information, contact chairperson Nongwane Xhaka on 083 487 9046.
