The Standerton Riverpark parkrun celebrated its 319th event on October 11, with over 80 runners and a day full of milestones.
Anniama Jose celebrated her 50th milestone run, while 14 parkrunners gained new personal best times.The first three finishers all set new times. They were Bongane Mpokane (17:25), Lehlohonolo Nyombane (20:20) and Pieter Jansen van Vuuren (20:29).
The others were Elihle Zikalala (23:16) , Pieter Ignatius Jansen van Vuuren (24:30), Puseletso Dladla (27:21), Juandre du Plessis (29:26), Ivan Kent (42:01), Charmain Kleynhans (43:29), Judith Magda Kruger (44:54), Eligna Lotter (49:46), Busi Maseko (49:46), Shameema Essak (50:45) and Sphiwekuhle Mtshali (51:44)
The volunteers who made this event possible were Frans Vermaak, Gwendoline Fourie, Hugh Robbertson, Johannes Vosloo, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Lydia Roets, Marjorie Uys, Nienke Swart, Momkhonkhosi Ramonotsi, Richard Mabaso, Zeldine Strydom.
