Models from Secunda have their sights set on Turkey

The community is welcome to help the models cover the costs of getting to Turkey.

Several models from the Jenesaisquoi Modelling Academy were selected to participate in a competition and attend a workshop in Turkey next year.

The models and coaches: Thato Ramapuputla, Johalise van der Walt, Beyanké Maartens, Laurika Els, Dawie Els, Diane van Wyk, Launa Jansen van Vuuren, and Tanya Maartens.

The models from the academy excelled in the South African Modelling Pageant in Brakpan on October 4. Ramapuputla won the Miss Teen Planet SA 2025 title.

Van der Walt won the Miss Teen World SA 2025 title and was named the first princess in the Miss Teen SA category. She also placed as the second princess in the Miss Supreme Queen competition.

Maartens won the Miss Teen SA 2025 and the Miss Universe SA 2025 titles and finished as first princess in the Miss Supreme Queen 2025 category.

Jansen van Vuuren won the Mrs Ekhurleni 2025 title and finished as the first princess in the Mrs Supreme Queen 2025 category. Van Wyk won the Miss Supreme Queen 2025 and the Miss Ekhurleni 2025 titles.

Els was crowned the Senior Supreme King 2025, while Lolla Els finished as second princess in the Mrs Supreme Queen 2025 and the Mrs Ekhurleni 2025 categories.

Tanya Maartens won the Miss Supreme Queen 2025 title and finished as the first princess in the Miss Ekhurleni 2025 category.
