Girl from Secunda wins crown for Toddler and Tween of the World 2025

Thanishka Singh (10) walked away with numerous top honours.

Thanishka Singh (10) has been crowned the 2025 Toddler and Tween of the World (TTW). She also walked away with top honours at this prestigious Disney-themed event held in Klerksdorp on October 11.

Young girls from across South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia showcased their confidence, talent, and creativity in categories like haute couture, top model, and talent.

Thanishka is a Grade Four learner at Organjegloed Primary School and impressed the judges and audiences alike at the glittering gala evening where the final crowning took place.

She began her pageantry journey in 2022 and is affiliated with SA All-Star Model Academy in the East Rand, under the coaching of Deon Krause.

Thanishka achieved the following titles and prizes: Toddler and Tween of the World junior overall winner, junior overall spokesmodel winner, Mpumalanga category winner, second place for Platinum Prime, crowned second princess for a cause, first princess for fitness, Blue Tique winner, casual wear optional winner, cover search winner, first princess in the international wear, February collection winner, August collection winner, and September collection winner.

“Winning this competition feels like a dream come true. I worked really hard, and I’m so happy that all my practice and confidence have paid off,” said Thanishka.

She thanks her parents, Nerisha and Sachin, her coach, and everyone who believed in her.

“This win reminds me to always stay kind, humble, and never give up on my dreams,” said Thanishka.

Thanishka will now have the chance to represent her region at the Ultimate International Miss competition happening in the USA in July 2026.

This is a dream Thanishka does not want to let slip out of her fingers, and funds are needed for her to attend this event next year.
