Secunda locals and their fur buddies glow for a good cause
The 2km Paws Neon Night Walk hosted by Because Dogs & Co, was to raise funds for animal welfare.
Locals came out glowing for a good cause, with their furry companions, to support the annual Because Dogs & Co Paws Neon Night Walk at Lake Umuzi on October 24.
It was a 2km fun walk to raise funds for the non-profit animal organisation that assists with the rehoming of animals through adoptions, sterilisations and animal welfare.
Some of the funds raised will also go to Chief Inspector Marius Van Reeuwyk from the South African Animal Welfare Inspectorate Association (SAAWIA) and Dada Pietersen from Project Uthando, who does outreach projects in and around Bethal, assisting animals in the rural communities.
