Organisers get enough boxes for shoebox project in Secunda

Support Santa Shoebox project next year and help a child in need.

The community showed strong support for the Santa Shoebox project by dropping off their boxes on November 1 and 2 at Laerskool Goedehoop.

Gerda Peuckert, coordinator of the countrywide project in Secunda, said enough boxes were collected and will be distributed over the next three weeks to children at orphanages.

Peuckert expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported the Santa Shoebox initiative, as well as to the volunteers who helped check all the boxes on the drop-off days.

She encouraged residents to get involved and support the project again next year.
