R5 000 reward up for grabs for missing dog

Tequila is still missing. Anyone with information can contact Janse van Rensburg at 081 733 4265.

The owners of a pitbull terrier named Tequila, and the community of Secunda are offering a reward of R5 000 in cash for the safe return of this beloved pet.

One of Secunda’s animal activists, Nicolette van Zyl, said they will not ask any questions. They just want the dog back.

Tequila’s owner, Roancha Janse van Rensburg, was taking her daughter to school on November 6 when she was involved in an accident on the corner of PDP Kruger Street and Helen Joseph Drive.

Tequila and Janse van Rensburg’s two other dogs, a Jack Russell, Sese, and a Rotweiler and German Shepherd cross-breed, Eva, always accompanied Janse van Rensburg when she dropped her child off at school.

Sese only got out of the car when Janse van Rensburg got out of the car.

However, Eva and Tequila were frightened and ran away.

Eva was found and returned home safely later the same day, but Tequila is still missing. Anyone with information can contact Janse van Rensburg at 081 733 4265.
