Secunda Action Sports hosts league finals

Teams were in action in the Action Sports hockey, cricket and netball winter league finals.

Teams competed for top spots in the Action Sports cricket, hockey and netball winter league finals held on November 1 and 8.

Teams are now in action with the spring league. Class on Grass beat the Eagles 40-0 to win the men’s A league cricket finals.

Dragons beat Megchem 108-79 to clinch the bronze medal. The B league winners were Replacements, who scored 64 against Curry Munchers’ 37.

Third place was the Comedians on 86, who beat the Hot Shots on -1. In mixed hockey, Spinning Stix won gold when they scored 2 to the C’s and D’s -1.

Third place was the Swift Strikers, who beat The Raiders 10-0. The men’s hockey was won by the Ankle Biters when they beat Die Nagadders 10-5.

The women’s A netball was won by the Witches, who beat Hocus Pocus 28-18. Third place was Goal Diggers, who beat U13A Super League 26-18.

Oceans beat Nexus Force 29-20 in the women’s B netball finals. Megchem Dynamites beat A+ Squad 27-23 for the bronze.

The mixed A league was won by All Stars when they beat Wannabees 35-23. Third place was Fireballs U23, who beat Winegums (Open) 31-18.

Mix Berries beat Pass To La Vista 30-25 to win the mixed C league. Bronze was awarded to Fast & Flawless, who beat Shoot Happens 24-11.

Fireballs U23 were the 6-a-side winners after defeating Razzles 39-32. In third place were Winegums (opens) who beat Jelly Tots (men’s) 41-34.
