The cyclists have until December 1 to complete this daunting task.

Local cycling enthusiasts, Sanpat Coetzee and Francois Streicher reported at Bloemfontein on November 26, to start the 1148km journey of The Munga 2025.

This incredible race takes cyclists through the rocky terrain of the Karoo, with challenging inclines and tests of endurance only the toughest cyclists can handle.

Coetzee is the oldest cyclist taking part in this event, showing her incredible dedication to cycling at 71. At roughly 14:10, Streicher was 318km through the track, with Coetzee following behind by 1km.
