Dancers of the Passion Dance Academy got rewarded for their hard work throughout the year at the Motion in Colour Showcase held on November 28.
Klara Brink was awarded as ballerina of the year, Annabelle Pösch as modern dancer of the year, and Marisa Mouton as acrobatic sport dancer of the year.

Pösch and Mouton also received distinctions for their modern dance exam, while Pösch, Omuhle Khoza, and Akhazi Sikhosana received distinctions for their ballet exam.
Mouton, Vuno Sikhosana and Thea van Rooyen obtained their Mpumalanga colours for acrobatic sport, and Mouton qualified to take part in the South African Dance Championship.
The idea of the Colour in Motion Showcase was to bring different colours onto the stage as well as various types of music and dances.

“We wanted to show the love for dance, which is a colourful experience. Dancing is like different colours on a white canvas,” said the owner of the Passion Dance Academy, Chané Booysen.
She congratulated all the dancers who excelled throughout the year and who got awards.
