Come rain or shine, nothing can stop a community from uniting for a good cause, which in this case is donating blood.

A Christmas Blood Drive, hosted by RE/MAX Homefinders, GTR/MCR, and SSV Chambers for the SANBS on December 2, drew 86 donors.

One pint of blood can save up to three lives. From this event, up to 258 lives can be saved.

The festive season is here, and more blood is needed. You can donate at the Secunda SANBS building at the Grand Palace on Heunis Street.

Trading hours:
• Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 09:00-17:00;
• Tuesdays from 10:30-17:00;
• Wednesdays from 09:00-18:00;
• Saturdays from 08:00-14:00;
• Public holidays from 09:00-13:00.
