The Standerton Riverpark parkrun hosted their 335th event on January 24, where 112 runners enjoyed the scenery of the Vaal river whilst getting their steps in.
Bongane Mpokane was the first finisher, completing the run in 18:20.
Pieter Jansen van Vuuren ran the 5km track in 21:30, followed by Thabo Patrick Tsotesti (23:00) and Timothy Hoop (23:53).
Eugene Viljoen finished in 24:21. Parth Jayram enjoyed a finishing time of 25:36.
The volunteers who made this event possible are Danie Laufs, Frans Vermaak, Koos Grobler, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Lydia Roets, Marjorie Uys, Nadine Hoop, Séan Jansen van Rensburg and Susan Laufs.
The Standerton Riverpark parkrun takes place every Saturday in the Standerton Riverpark, runners take off at 08:00.
