Laerskool Kalie de Haas is hosting a fishing day in Standerton

Tickets for the event will be available on February 27 from 17:00 to 20:00 and on the morning of February 28 at the dam.

Laerskool Kalie de Haas is calling all fishermen for a fin-tastic fishing day at Grootdraai Dam on February 28. This day promises loads of fun for young and old fishing enthusiasts.

A Mpumalanga fishing license will be required to enter into this event, but will be available for R50 at the ticket booth.

Tickets for the event will be available on February 27 from 17:00 to 20:00 and on the morning of February 28 at the dam.

Entry costs include R300 per angler and R150 for juniors under the age of 13.

The angler who catches the biggest Baber will win the grand prize of R15 000.

The prize for the biggest carp will be R10 000. The biggest baber and carp in the junior category will earn their anglers a prize of R1 500.
