Many take part in the annual Sasol Marathon in Secunda

Athletes enjoy 42.2km run in cool weather.

Many athletes entered Sasol’s 46th annual marathon that took place on February 14. Runners could choose to take part in a 42.2km run, a 21.1km run, a 10km run or a 5km fun run.

The marathon kicked off at the Sasol Recreation Club, and the runners ran through the streets of Secunda and finished again at the Sasol Recreation Club.

All runners who completed the marathon received medals, and there were cash prizes for the winners.
