The cricket team from Kinross lost their match against Delmas on February 14 on the field of the Sasol Cricket Club in Secunda.
Kinross was sent in to bat first, and they managed to restrict Delmas to 173 runs, all out. Kinross could only make 116 runs and thus lost by 57 runs.
Nkululeko Ndzimande was Kinross’ best bowler and took three wickets for 12 runs in 4.2 overs.
Sasol Cricket Club’s women’s team competed against Bethal Bears on February 15 on Hoërskool Hoogenhout’s fields and lost by seven wickets.
Sasol 2 was also going to face the Bethal Bears at the Sasol Cricket Club on February 15, but the match was cancelled because the pitch was too wet.
