Emergency services responded to an accident around 09:00 this morning involving two vehicles at the traffic lights where Walter Sisulu Drive in Secunda ends at the P185 (the road between Evander and Trichardt)

Several people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

Two patients were transported to a hospital by ER24 and Midfire Safety EMS.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
