Renowned Bethal musician to release a new album
RasLethu Rsa is entering a new chapter focused on elevating independent African entertainment onto wider platforms.
eMzinoni music artist, RasLethu Rsa, born Lethuxolo Nhlapho, has officially announced his upcoming album titled Crown of Noise & Silk, marking a defining moment in his artistic journey and the continued rise of one of Mpumalanga’s emerging entertainment voices.
Born and raised in Bethal eMzinoni, Nhlapho has steadily built a reputation for blending dancehall, rap, reggae, and African urban influences into a distinctive sound that reflects both street culture and artistic ambition.
The album announcement follows growing recognition surrounding the artist’s previous releases, including the widely recognised single Wahamba, as well as industry recognition through the South African Upcoming Music Awards (SAUMA), where he won the 2025 best reggae song award for Catch a Fire.
According to Nhlapho, Crown of Noise & Silk represents more than just an album release. The project introduces a full creative campaign involving music, visual storytelling, fashion-inspired branding, fan engagement, and community participation.
“Over recent years, I have continued building momentum within the entertainment scene through music releases, visual storytelling concepts, live performances, and growing digital engagement,” said Nhlapho.
Beyond music, RasLethu Rsa represents a broader creative movement centred around culture, identity, fashion, visual aesthetics, and youth expression.
With the upcoming release of Crown of Noise & Silk, Nhlapho said he is entering a new chapter focused on elevating independent African entertainment onto wider platforms.
