Body of strangled man found next to the R42 near Delmas
The vehicle in which the decease was travelling, a White VW Polo with a Gauteng registration, is still missing.

The police in Delmas received a call on January 18 at around 11:53 about a person lying next to the R42 at the Strydpan T-junction.
The police found the body of a man with what appears to be a strap of packaging rope around his neck and hands.
The victim was declared dead on the scene.
The deceased was wearing blue denim trousers and a white and dark plaid long-sleeve shirt.
A brown jacket was also on the scene.
The man’s identity document was found on him, but his name can not yet be released until his next of kin have been notified.
Captain Carla Hartley, spokesperson for the Delmas police confirmed that the deceased is a South African citizen, aged 47.
According to the investigation, the vehicle in which the decease was travelling, a White VW Polo with a Gauteng registration, is still missing.
