Accused must be back in court on October 15.

The 59-year-old man accused of possession and distribution of child pornography was granted bail today (August 28) in the amount of R20 000.

Presiding magistrate in the Standerton District Court, Sabelo Tembe, based his decision on the fact that the accused has a secure job with the Lekwa Local Municipality, owns immovable property in Standerton, and has family within the jurisdiction of the court.
