Murder accused Werner Müller appears in Secunda Court again

The body of René was discovered concealed in a bag in the outside room of her townhouse in Danie Theron Street on April 13, at around 12:30.

Werner Müller, the man accused of murdering his wife, René Müller, appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court today, July 20.

The matter has been postponed to Monday, July 27, pending the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) instruction.

Müller remains in custody.

The body of René was discovered concealed in a bag in the outside room of her townhouse in Danie Theron Street on April 13, at around 12:30.

She had been stabbed 18 times.

The couple had been married since February.

Müller was arrested in Mozambique on April 14, after fleeing Secunda.
