Lekwa holds business indaba

Available business opportunities and chain requirements to participate in opportunities for both the public and private sector were addressed.

Lekwa Municipality held a business indaba at the Standerton Town Hall on Thursday, August 18, aiming at sharing information on matters of  Local Economic Development.

Available business opportunities and chain requirements to participate in opportunities, for both the public and private sector were addressed.

The executive mayor, Louis Delani Thabethe, addressed the stakeholders on the objective of enhancing economic growth and thereby creating a conducive environment in the Lekwa area.

Another objective was to close the gap between local government and local business structures.

Best practices between the public and private sector as regards job creation initiatives were shared as well.
