Delmas Police appoint junior commander

Nomvuyo Naledi Mabaso from the Swartklip Combined School in Delmas was appointed as the junior commander on Wednesday, August 24.
Nomvuyo’s appointment came after she took part in an essay competition about substance abuse.
All the secondary schools participated and her essay was chosen as the best.
On the day, Nomvuyo was introduced to the Delmas Police management team.
“Her role will be to create a safe and secure learning environment that is free of crime and to develop future leaders who will uphold the moral values and principles of our society,” said Capt Carla Hartley, media spokesperson for the Delmas Police.
