Sanco is fully intent on organising a march to municipality in Standerton

According to Mosia, they were unable to schedule a meeting with Executive Mayor Delani Louis Thabethe or Municipal Manager Malose Lamola to air their grievances.

William Mosia, the zonal chairperson of the South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) in Lekwa, said on January 16 that he is fuming.

Sanco plans to organise a protest about service delivery issues.

A Sanco march in April 2018 was well attended.

According to Mosia, they were unable to schedule a meeting with Executive Mayor Delani Louis Thabethe or municipal manager Malose Lamola to air their grievances.

“We need to flex our muscles since it is happening on our watch,” Mosia said.

Sanco will apply for permission to march to the Lekwa Municipality and give Lekwa seven working days to approve it.

A memorandum will be given to management. According to them, they are looking at the interests of the masses.
