What is happening in Cullinan?

Local markets and fairs to look forward to.

The Cullinan Boeremark is back in full swing with a twice-monthly market spanning over a weekend on the last and first Saturdays and Sundays of each month from 09:00 to 14:00.

The market offers local fresh produce, arts and crafts, homemade and handmade goods and much more. The next market will take place on the weekend of 25 and 26 March.

Another event to look forward to is the Cullinan Groot Gat Craft Distillers & Brewers Fair, which will take place at Cullinan Library Park on 1 and 2 April from 10:00 to 17:00.

This fair will focus on craft distillers and brewers who have a passion for their craft. Visitors will taste craft-distilled gin, brandy, vodka, beers and liqueurs not commercially available.

Craft and artisan-type cheeses and loaves of bread, olives and sauces will also be paired with the various liquors.

“This fair will take your tastebuds on a culinary fantasy,” said Danie Booysen, the event organiser.

Tickets are available online through Quicket as well as at the venue.

The cost of the ticket includes a tasting cup and all tastings. Live performances by AJ de Vos and Fanus Pienaar will entertain visitors throughout the day.
