Isifisosethu-learners in Standerton roll up their sleeves

Isifisosethu Primary School in Ext 6 held a career day on Friday, March 10 to empower learners for the future.

The school said their society is currently faced with high numbers of teenage pregnancies, school drop-outs and drug abuse by the youth.

According to them, crime is committed daily.

They indicated their aim to ensure that learners do not fall victim to these socio-economic issues.

Learners wore the clothing of their career choice and motivational speakers talked to them about pursuing their dreams.

A cleaning campaign followed in the township.
