Cullinan Rugby Club takes on Correctional Services
The first rugby team played in the Blue Bulls Rugby Union (BBRU) Sports Betting Easter Festival this Easter.
The past Easter weekend, Cullinan’s first rugby team played in the Blue Bulls Rugby Union (BBRU) Sports Betting Easter Festival.
They faced the Correctional Services on April 8 at the Noordelikes Rugby Club in Pretoria.
After the first half, Cullinan was behind but managed to catch up and took a long lead in the second half.
The team showed character, but the Correctional Services team had luck on their side and scored points during the last minute of the game.
“I remain proud of the Cullinan team. They played their hearts out and will kick off this season well, said their coach, André van der Merwe.
Correctional Services won 41-32 against Cullinan.
“We were privileged to play at the BBRU in the tournament,” said Van der Merwe.
