Lintle launches youth opportunity hub in eMbalenhle
Youth will also be assisted to get bursaries and internship opportunities after college or university.
The Lintle for the Youth Organisation launched the youth opportunity hub on April 13 at eMbalenhle Sasol Club.
According to Lerato Mokoena, the aim of establishing the hub is not only to assist the youth but also the unemployed graduates.
“We have partnered with other stakeholders to support both unemployed young people and university graduates to undergo additional training in life skills, entrepreneurship, work readiness and leadership training.
“The youth will also be assisted on how to get bursaries and internship opportunities after college or university.
We are also partnering with two universities and the program has already started around Govan Mbeki Municipality area and will spread across the country,” said Mokoena.
Mokoena also said their programme caters for both urban and rural communities. It consists of five sectors that will be introduced to all communities.
