Bronkhorstspruit CPF elects new executive
The Bronkhorstspruit CPF and the Bronkhorstspruit SAPS will work together to fight crime.
The Bronkhorstspruit Community Policing Forum (CPF) held its sub-sector committee elections to elect a new executive committee on April 15.
The Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison (DCSSL), represented by David Bogopa, and the CPF sub-sector committees were responsible for the electoral process.
The newly elected Bronkhorstspruit CPF executive committee comprises November Mbonani (chairperson), Thokozani Sindane (deputy chairperson), Thabo Matsheni (secretary), Charmaine Ras (deputy secretary), Zanele Mkhwebane (treasurer) and Portia Nhlane (public relations officer).
The additional members are Aubrey Baloyi, Maryna Fondse and Peter Mahlangu.
According to Constable Munyadziwa Cathrine Ramovha, the Bronkhorstspruit SAPS communications officer, the committee and the Bronkhorstspruit police renewed their commitment to work together to reduce crime in the community.
Station commander Colonel Maqhawe Dhladhla emphasised that fighting crime is far more effective when done in partnership.
Mbonani extended his gratitude and appreciation to the outgoing interim executive for all their efforts. He looks forward to working with the new executive.
“The Bronkhorstspruit CPF looks forward to creating a safer environment for all,” the new chairperson said.
