Region 5 wins City of Tswhane’s team spirit trophy
Region 5 includes Rayton, Cullinan, Refilwe, Sable Hills, Roodeplaat and Onverwacht.
Region 5, which includes Rayton, Cullinan, Refilwe, Sable Hills, Roodeplaat and Onverwacht, recently won the team spirit award and trophy.
All seven regions in the City of Tshwane participated in the Regional Operations & Coordination (ROC) Cohesion games to uplift and build team spirit.
“I am extremely proud of Region 5’s directors, deputy directors and officials led by the regional head, Persia Sekati,” said Johannes Bekker, councillor of Ward 100.

Bekker praised the team on their service delivery and dedication even though they are often faced with challenges, rude residents, bad weather and situations that could easily demotivate them, they keep their spirit high.
Region 5 is the largest with the smallest number of officials and the smallest budget. It includes wards 87, 99 and 100 as well as half of three other wards in Tshwane.
“Well done Region 5, you make me proud to be serving the residents with you.”
