Laerskool Trichardt learners awed by simulation exercises by emergency role players

GTR/MCR show Laerskool Trichardt learners how a vehicle is removed through their towing services at an accident scene.

The learners of Laerskool Trichardt were recently entertained, through an educational demonstration and awareness, given by local heroes at the school.

The school’s ground echoed the sounds of sirens blaring, smoke in the sky from emergency flares, K9 units sniffing out drugs, firefighters rescuing an entrapped motorist, paramedics attending to an injured patient and the removal of vehicle wreckage by towing services.

MavCorp High-Risk Response hosted the simulation exercise with emergency roleplayers, the Govan Mbeki Municipality Fire Department, SAPS, K9 Search and Rescue Unit, Netcare911 and GTR/MCR.
