Cosmos Private Academy celebrated Africa Day on May 25 in style. Learners were dressed in attires of different countries on the continent.
Africa Day has been commemorated since 1963.
Jabulisile Ncubo gave the background of this celebration, asking questions such as whether South Africa is a continent or a country.
The eager learners listened attentively before Michaela van der Sandt led the group with dancing on the lawn.
A round of spontaneous applause followed.
Thabisile Sibanyoni, the principal, watched proceedings from the back of the garden.
