Daughter unharmed during break-in in Standerton
When checking, the complainant noticed that the TV, a JVC 42-inch, and a black 3.5kw generator in the garage were missing.

There was a house robbery on Charl Cilliers Street, Standerton, on July 3.
According to the Standerton Police, the complainant left for work and received a call from her neighbour at about 10:30, informing her of a robbery at her house.
She drove home and found her daughter and neighbour in the kitchen with Kasselman Security Services (KSS).
In tears, her daughter said she heard her dog bark while she was in her room. She also heard the other door open.
She went to check, and after opening her door, she noticed a man.
He told her to sit on the bed and hand over her cellphone and two laptops. The dog sat next to the daughter and was also scared.

The suspect left her in the room, locked her inside and took the key with him. When checking, the complainant noticed that the TV, a JVC 42-inch, and a black 3.5kw generator in the garage were missing. The value of the items is R34 000.
The daughter said two or three suspects were possibly involved. KSS also sent information on July 3 about the house burglary.
They said three suspects entered the premises by lifting the gate off its tracks.
They forced the garage door open to gain access to the house. The suspects drove a white vehicle. The police said no suspects were arrested. The police opened case number 23/07/2023.
