Reckless driver in Bronkhorstspruit injures one, avoids arrest
According to the police, the suspect could not provide a driver’s license, nor a license disc for the car.
An accident happened at the bridge at Hoërskool Erasmus in Bronkhorstspruit on July 15.
A motorist allegedly skipped the stop sign and overtook another vehicle before colliding with an oncoming car on the corner of Cathy and Gen Louis Botha streets.
According to the police, the suspect could not provide a driver’s license, and no license disc was visible on his car.
“Although the man had no visible injuries, he disappeared into an ambulance before he could be arrested,” said the police.
The second driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
