Vollies embark on Groot Stap from Rayton to Cullinan

Cullinan Church hosted the Vollies Groot Stap.

The Vollies Groot Stap from Rayton to Cullinan took place on July 22.

The walk of 8km was arranged by the Volle Evangelie Kerk (Full Gospel Church) in Cullinan to unite businesses, churches and the community.

The church is trying to build a tourism industry and economy in Cullinan. About 220 people from Bronkhorstspruit, Rayton and Cullinan took part in this event.

They were allowed to run, walk and even cycle.

A water stop was erected along the route to the church for people who needed water while enjoying the walk.

Pastors were also placed on auction and the person with the highest bid could throw a tray of cream in their faces.

The church members seized the opportunity.

The Cullinan church organised a raffle for the people who joined the walk and amazing prizes were won. There were also stalls where food was sold to anyone who wanted it.
