Stanley Mthiyane, deputy director of Sectors Five and Seven, said the netball fan park was used to motivate the youth and develop skills for the game.
They are helping the youth by bringing people together so they can play netball rather than do drugs.
Fan Parks are all over Gauteng and not just for netball but for various other sports and even drama. The province assists the youth with drama classes.
