Body of baby found on illegal dumpsite in eMbalenhle
The police have opened an inquest docket.
The body of a stillborn baby was found in the dumping area of Ext 18, eMbalenhle, on August 19.
According to Constable Busi Mthethwa, a community member alerted the police of the little body.
The police found the body of a baby boy wrapped in plastic.
They also noticed that a right leg was missing, possibly removed by dogs.
Mthethwa said all role players were summoned to the scene and an inquest docket was opened.
No arrests have been made.
