Help Trichardt SAPS identify murdered man

The deceased’s estimated age was between 30 and 45.

The body of an unknown man was found at the N17 turnoff to Syferfontein mine shaft on August 20. The Trichardt police seek any relatives or friends who can identify the deceased.

The man, certified dead by paramedics on the scene, wore a blue jacket, blue denim pants and black boots. He also had dreadlocks.

The deceased’s estimated age was between 30 and 45.

“He had multiple stab wounds,” said Sergeant Valencia Mashaba, the communications officer for the Trichardt SAPS.

Mashaba urged anyone from the community who might know the deceased or can provide information to help the investigation to contact Detective Sergeant Thulni Andrea Khanyi on 082 465 2364 or 017 631 8183.
