Learners shine in spelling bee in Kinross

Sindilile Khumalo of Thistle Grove Combined School in the Thistle Grove Friends of the Library's Spelling Bee on October 26.

KINROSS – The Thistle Grove Friends of the Library hosted a Spelling Bee at the Sasol Recreation Club in Kinross on October 26, and Lamlile Combined School from Bethal won the competition.

DP Kgotleng Primary School from Mafikeng finished second, Thistle Grove Combined School third, and Sasolia Primary School fourth.

Among the learners, Banele Zulu from Kinross Primary School won, Keamohetswe Raletsoho of Stanwest Combined School in Standerton finished second, and Thando Khumalo and Karren Dube of Sizenzele Primary School, close to Amersfoort, shared third place.
