The community members and members of different political parties picketed outside the Leandra Magistrate’s Court today (January 15) where the man suspected of raping and killing a 44-year-old woman was expected to apply for bail.

Betty Malinga was reported missing on Christmas day. Her body was found in a furrow at Extension 9, in Leandra on January 3.

She was stabbed several times.

The case was postponed for Wednesday 17, for Lucky Nkosi to consult with his legal aid attorney.
