Security officers rescue tied-up dog in Standerton

The animal is currently at the Standerton Animal Hospital.

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) rescued a dog tied to a tree in the veld near the industrial bridge in Standerton this afternoon (January 2).

The dog was tied to the tree with large chains and appears to have been in this position for quite some time.

The animal was initially reported on the Facebook group Lekwa News and Advertising 2430, and KSS made quick work of finding the dog and freeing it.

The hungry pooch has since been taken to Standerton Animal Hospital for treatment.
