Animal welfare organisation from Secunda extends its outreach to Kriel township

Little Paws Big Hearts held its first outreach in Thubelihle, bringing care to vulnerable animals after seeing the need to extend its programmes to the Kriel township, Thubelihle.

The Little Paws Big Hearts (LPBH) NPO recently held its first outreach in Thubelihle, the fifth township where it conducts outreach programmes for vulnerable animals.

The other local townships are Holfontein, Marikana, Afghanistan and Nkomeni.

“After many discussions, planning sessions and meticulous preparation, the LPBH completed its first outreach in Thubelihle,” said Sons Kempen, the LPBH founder.

“Each new area reminds us why our work matters: Bringing medical care, vaccinations, education, food and hope to animals and families who truly need it.”

She said the people in Thubelihle were happy to see the LPBH volunteers, and that many could not believe there is an organisation like LPBH that comes to help animals in the community.

“We know the word will spread, and during our next outreach, we will be able to attend to many more animals who need us.

“We are a dedicated and proud team, always ready to take the lead and make a difference. Together, we grow, and together, we save lives,” said Kempen.

She thanked everyone who supports the LPBH with sponsorship, donations and volunteering services.

“Because of your kindness, we can continue to grow, reach more communities, and do better every single time,” concluded Kempen.
