Both Govan Mbeki Municipality teams competing in the Motsepe Foundation League walked away with maximum points following hard-fought victories on February 21.

Secunda M Stars FC secured a crucial 2–1 win against Amsterdam United FC at the Risko Fakude Stadium in eMbalenhle. The home side delivered a strong and determined performance, battling intensely throughout the match to claim all three points.

Meanwhile, Phezulu FC continued their impressive run of form with a 2–1 triumph over Carolina Boys FC at Lillian Ngoyi Stadium in Secunda on the same day.
