Nurses celebrated at provincial event in Secunda
DENOSA deputy president Linah Jiyane called for increased government investment in nurses’ training initiatives to empower healthcare workers and strengthen the nursing profession.
The Mpumalanga Department of Health in collaboration with the Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) celebrated International Nurses Day at the Lillian Ngoyi Centre on May 12, honouring the province’s dedicated nurses.
The annual event, recognised by the International Council of Nurses, was held under the theme, “Empowered Nurses Save Lives.”
