SECUNDA – Madaleen van Staden won the Level 0 lead at the South African Western Mounted Games on Saturday, 7 June.
At the Level zero-off lead Gamay Tromp won, followed by Megan Lourens and Simone van der Merwe came third.
Michelle le Roux won the Level 1 category and Nicole Doyer came second.
In the Level 2 category Rossouw van Reenen came first, Michelle le Roux came second and Marius Scoonraad third.
Lizelle Maree and Oubaas de Jager won the Level 3 category and Colin Miles second.
Pupils from various schools also took part in the competition.
Naseem Mohammed from Hoërskool Secunda came first, Gesamentlik Shekanyah Cochrane from Hoërskool Secunda and Wihan Pretorius Hoërskool Delmas both won the Level 1 category.
In the Level 2 category Estiaan Smit from Hoërskool Oosterland came first, Adri Kritzinger rom Hoërskool Delmas came second and Zeenat Saber from Hoërskool Secunda came third.
HJ Grobbelaar from Hoërskool Delmas won the Level 3 category and Judith Kritzinger and Marischke Groenewald came second.
