Ntokozo meets Themba Bavuma

eMZINONI – Winning the second phase of the “Join the Proteas Family with KFC” Competition, gave Ntonkozo Sibande the chance to spend time with Themba Bavuma of the Proteas Cricket Team.

Ntonkozo, his family and friends played a fun game of mini-cricket with his icon at Sakhisizwe Primary School.

He said it was a life changing experience and that he learned a lot from Themba.

“Themba is my hero, he is humble and gifted in cricket.

“I hope KFC will continue with this competition so that we can meet our heroes.”

Ntonkozo and his friends were delighted when Themba gave them sportsbags from KFC and Proteas autographed T-shirts.

Themba also motivated the youth to be focused in life, to study and to take cricket very serious.

He also shared his life experiences before he got involved with the Proteas and within the team.

“This an opportunity given by God and I gam oing to make use of it.

“It is because of my parents’ support, who always kept me focused and encouraged to pursue cricket and to study further.

“Travelling to play in different places, can be a challenge.
