Local Kaizer Chiefs branch elects new committee

The meeting was held at Nyandeni Primary School in Sakhile and new committee members were elected.

The Kaizer Chiefs Standerton branch held an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 23 August.

The meeting was held at Nyandeni Primary School in Sakhile and new committee members were elected.

The new members are Messrs Dodeni Dlamini (chairman), Humphry Mathebula (deputy chairman), Pule Khanye (secretary) and Sipho Dlamini (deputy secretary).

Other members are Messrs Bhekizizwe Dlamini (treasurer), Vusumuzi Mchunu (deputy treasurer), Johannes Zwane (organiser) and Daniel Malindisa (marketing officer).

Ms Joanah Nkutha (condolences officer), Messrs Fanyana Zimu (youth champion officer) and Simanga Moloi (veteran manager) were also elected.

There are three disciplinary committee members namely Messrs Msona Nqabeni, Bongani Dladla and Themba Mdakani. The social responsibility members are Ms Fortunate Hlekana, Messrs Isaih Maseko and Urther Tsotetsi.

The provincial chairman, Mr Mandla Mthethwa, thanked the members for their participation and encouraged them to ensure that each supporter belongs to a branch.

Mr Mthethwa said the marketing officer will have to work harder to recruit more members.
