SECUNDA – Colin Louw celebrated his 50th Parkrun on Saturday, 28 November.
The Parkrun is over 5km which takes place every Saturday at Trichardspruit Dam at 8am.
Johann Reyneke, a volunteer at the Parkrun congratulated Louw for his achievement and urged people to join the run or to volunteer to assist the club in different ways.
He said anyone is allowed to join free of charge and you run or walk at their own pace and all age groups are welcome.
Some parents even push prams or walk with their dogs.
Mr Reyneke said Secunda Parkrun will have a Christmas Day run and asked people to bring their Christmas suits and enjoy the fun.
Louw received an Adidas T-shirt for running his 50th Parkrun.
