Hier Gaan Ons Alweer seminar a success
Discussions relating to the best time to fish, identifying different types of bubbles in water, air pressure and why women with their pink rods more often catch bigger fish than their male counterparts, were especially insightful.
Khan’s Angling and Cycling played host to the team of Hier Gaan Ons Alweer on 19 March.
With schools closed and people leaving for the long weekend, the turn-out was still surprisingly good.
The Hier Gaan Ons Alweer team featuring the likes of Petri de Wet, Schalk van Breda, Loukie van der Merwe and André van Rooyen was down to earth and eager furthermore to share their fishing knowledge with attendees.

The Sensation team consisting of Ikraam Jooma, Pierre Jacobs and Mohammed Ebrahim also held a casting demonstration in the open field opposite the shop and shared insights on in-store products.
Fans were granted the opportunity to meet and greet, pose for a photo or even get their favourite angler’s autograph.
Mr Zahid Khan, owner of Khan’s Angling and Cycling, said he was pleased with the outcome of the event.
“Even though the seminar did not resemble the same number of attendees as the previous expo, I believe that everyone in attendance gained valuable knowledge and enjoyed the seminar.
