Zone Mavo collects three points
The final score was Zone Mavo 2-1 Premier United FC.
KINROSS – Zone Mavo collected three points during their match against Premier United FC on Saturday at Kinross Sasol Club.
The first half of the match saw Zone Mavo getting lots of opportunities to score goals, but these were wasted.
Their first goal was scored by Mzondi three minutes before half time.
Bafana (Shumi) Sibeko scored the second goal for Zone Mavo from a ball passed form the left side by Zane.
The Zone Boys relaxed after scoring the second goal and did not see a goal coming from Louis Mthethwa.
The final score was 2-1 in favour of Zone Mavo.
Premier United’s coach, Mr Sthembiso Zitha, said the match was fair, while Mr Lizo Mjempu, Zone Mavo’s coach, said his boys did not play their normal game.
He also blamed the ground that they played on for their poor performance.
